The Beginning

As a high school student, I had a love for drawing. I would get lost in a drawing or painting for the fun of it. I have included some of the work I completed as a teenager. I used graphite pencils, watercolor and drug store colored pencil.

This drawing was done in graphite pencil.

This painting was done in watercolor. It is of the Kentucky Derby the year that Secretariat won.
The drawing was done with drug store colored pencils. At the time I did not realize that they made artist grade pencils.
This drawing of Abraham Lincoln was done on graphite pencil.
The old man with the cart and horse was done in graphite pencil.
Leo Sandy Bar was drawn with graphite pencil.
